Yeah, for me there's no use going that way if all I can do is run the lowest setting all the time.

Not sure what the "NOPE" is about? Unless you are referring to my statement "I believe that Jody is the only guy that can customize a tune for your PSD if you have performance injectors......."

To clarify to those that do not have a DP Tuner chip:
I meant in my statement that Jody's dealers do not have the capability to customize in the field, not that he's the only tuner that can provide custom tunes.

Are we clear?

I am clear on what I have. I have a DP chip that does not have Jody's tunes. I don't know what you mean, but DP's chips can be reburnt with different tunes by different folks. Maby "his" dealers can't do it, but it can be done.
Do you see what I am saying???

I still have a touchy throttle from SCMT to chip but I guess you get use to it in my opinion. Also, don't know it it will help but I have stock setting on my chip as well and in snow, I use that setting to take away the touch throttle.

My pedal is kind of touchy. On the very low end it is normal, but just a little off idle. It will spin the tires if not careful. I am use to working the pedal in order to keep from getting attention at red-lights. This is only in the Race and Extreme tunes. The other three does not do this.

Over on TDS, there is a thread that states that there it a 80hp regular tune as well as a 80hp economy tune. The reg. tune is about 100* lower on egt's. I guess you must have to call Jody directly to get that one. But then, that is the good part, you can have Jody tune for your needs.

My Bully Dog programming was touchy on the higher settings. The DP Tuning is not. I have the 4 pos switch with 1400rpm idle, 40 Tow, 80 Econo, and 100 Perf. My HPOP doesn't have enough juice to drive on 100 so I drive around town on 40 and hit the 80 as I get on the freeway. Now I just need big oil... Please Santa, bring me a $2k HPOP.

How about the TS performance 6pos Chip? I have not seen anything that says I need a larger HPOP with any of the chips on the 145HP setting. Let me know if I would.
Thanks.

Thanks.
The only time you would need to upgrade the HPOP would be when you installed big injectors. I don't think there is a chip out there that would require
a bigger HPOP.

Au Contraire Monfrere. My HPOP PSI drops to 1900 on my highest chip setting (100 HP DP Tuner) and for sure needs more pressure to get anywhere near the performance it can offer. I have early 99 AB injectors that are actually "smaller" than the later 99.5+. There are several companies offering modified single and some dual pumps that can maintain 3000+. The latest discussions have indicated that "big oil" gives as much power increase as Stage I injectors.

And what are your 4 settings? Sorry to keep beating on this but my wife and others have driven my truck with the tuner and immediatley notice the touchy throttle and hate it. I don't care for it much either on rough roads while hunting either.

I have the stock, 60 hp Tow, 80 hp Econo and the 100 hp.

I chose to keep mine under 100 hp because I knew if I didn't, I would be headed to BTS long before I had too.
