Just a suggestion to all...
The issue of mounts/perches has come up numerous times on this forum. I think it would be a great idea for tech article with photo's or illustrations. If we could catalog these in an album it would help a lot of people. I have 2wd FE mounts I could take pics of.
How do we do this?

I'm getting ready to pull a 4x4 360 out of a '73. It would be nothing for me to post a photo of the empty engine compartment.

thats a great idea guys. we could even go as far as to include frame and engine crossmember pics. i have read countless threads about converting to 4WD and whether the frames are different and how different, it'd be good to have pictures on hand.

All I know for the two different lengths were that it has something to do with the short wheel base and long wheel base. One of them used in the wrong truck will cause the front shaft to hit the cross member and I think it places it closer to the tranny pan on a C6 but not sure on that one.
