I have a 65 econline i am puting 6 cyl in with a auto trans out of a 74 ply vallent what u-joint will i need. I know the cap on the ford is 1.063 with outside lock. And the vallent cap are 1.078 with inside lock. Can any one the me the # for the joint I need. thanks
if you have the small rearend, you are screwed! there is NO crossover joint for the 7-7 1/4 rear end. if you have the 9 inch rear, you may have to buy 2 joints to make 1. all just depends on the rearend.
I've got the small rearend in my 61 Econoline Pickup. I have a rearend from a 71 Challanger that I am going to put under the Econoline. Anyone know off hand if there is a crossover u joint that will fit the two together? I didn't know there was such a thing. I was gona get a driveline shop to put Mopar u joint yoke on the Econoline driveshaft. That crossover sounds much easier if a valiable.
