So im soon swapping out driveshafts and i figure i might as well throw in some new u joints when comes the time, Bear with me im only 15 but,
1) Do the bearing caps usually come with u-joints or do i have to buy them seperate?
2) Are there heavy duty versions of them for my 78 F-150 w/ single peice rear driveshaft?
3) Are the front u joints the same as the rear u joints?
as far as the size difference take a tape measure and check the cap diameter or even a ruler will work
heavy duty u joints are available but will cost more
and if i were u i wouldnt worry with heavy duty ujoints standard factory replacements should work just fine unless u plan on racing or pulling insanely large loads which i would not recommend doing with just a 1/2 ton as far as the pulling is concerned
