if you gut the whole thing the egts will drop a little and flow will improve. i dont have a stock turbo on my truck anymore so i cant vouch for all the improvements, but i know other people that have had improvements over the change. its always a combination of the entire matched system that you will see the best gains over. just keep that in mind, so if you have a better flowing intake and exaust there will be gains with both but minimal with just one. it helps if you have your signature filled out so we know what you have. shimming the fuel pressure up to about 68psi helps throttle response quite a bit.

when you start your truck if you hear it come on wait till it goes off then unplug it or drive the truck and shut it down and unplug it. remember if you do it the second way that turbo is going to be HOT

Just go out there now with a flash lite and unplug it, you will prolly burn your hand if the engine is hot.
