Accel points eliminator conversion

Has anyone tried this? I ordered the kit from summit today along with a new coil. I hope it works as good as they say it will. Also got ARP rod bolts, main bolts, and oil pump drive shaft.

it will work fine. the crane xr-i is my first choice because it is a sealed unit with no shutter wheel. it also has a rev limiter runs 68.00

I've been running the pertronix flamethrower system on my 360 the last 3 years and 14,000 and no problems yet. runs smooth as a singer sewer and starts easier too!

Hey Ford 390 My pertronix is doing fine but next summer I'm going to put the Crane on this truck because of the low 4000 rev limiter when my 16 year old can take it out with out me lol

Ok. I have been reading the directions to this conversion kit and its says to make sure that the vehicle is equiped with a ballast register in between the ignition and the positive terminal on the coil. On a 70 f100, where would I look for this to make sure that it hasn't been bypassed or removed?
