I ran dual Bilsteins for about a year; the ride sucked. Bouced like crazy on the freeway (CA freeways are notoriously bad) and very tight over speed and bumps and such. I recently went to a single set up which is much better around town. Stilll bounces on the freeway but that cant be helped.
Started this thread a week or so ago. & only 1 person has dual shocks to coment on! I've read lots on this site, and figure this its the place for answers, but maybe I was wrong! Not mad, just hoped to get some feedback!
I'm running dual Rancho RSX's and the ride seems fine to me.
All dual shocks do for the real everyday driver is makes your truck ride stiff but they do look great I personaly like the single bilstens its a better ride then stock.

I just put the 10" remote resevior Fox on my truck and it feels like the valving needs to be stiffer. It really bounces like there is no shock at all. I was thinking two might be just right. I am going to build a hoop this week for the single because the 10" is really too big to stuff in the stock location with an adapter.

Did you check the pressure in the shocks before you mounted them? I don't know about FOX, but when you order KINGs they are shipped with little or no Nitrogen...for shipping purposes.
No I did not do that. I don't remember seeing anything in the instructions that came with them. they were pretty hard to push in. You just put a regular tire guage on them?
Thanks Bear Hunter

Beautiful rig you have there.... Tire gauge isn't going to cut it..I doubt yours goes up high enough. I don't know what the FOX's are supposed to be, but the KINGs are 150 psi. I took mine to a local motorcross shop and they hooked up their Nitro tank and guages and filled them to spec for me.
There is a lot of pressure in there... pressing the valve in even for a split second will give you a net loss of about 20-25 psi...so don't test it by pushing it in with your finger if you know what I mean.
Yeah, I realized that like a day after I posted it. Duh. The Fox's are 200psi. I was talking to a guy at the fuel pump yesterday and he was running dual Fox's on his Excursion. He said they told him duals would run better than a single since they were valved for off road trucks.
