Heres a dumb question, but i thought i would ask before i attempt to do it myself. How does the ring around the interior door panels come off? i see now screw holes so i am assuming they just snap off, but i don't want to brake them doing it if there is some special way of getting them off. Thanx.
Here's a couple of photos showing the clips. Oftentimes, when you pop the ring away from the panel, the clip will stay in the panel and the ring will pull free. It's no big deal. You may have to scrounge some new clips.

Since you seem to have some experience w/ these metal door panels can you tell me if any clips are needed to screw the metal panels into the door. I currently have fiberboard-type panels but am getting metal instead. It looks like the existing holes in the metal of the door are bigger that the screws??
Thanks for the reply regarding the door panels. Here's the thing though.. the door has pre-drilled holes. The larger ones were used with some wire clips to attach my old fiber-board door panels. There are some smaller holes as well that line up with the holes on the metal door panels I purchased off ebay. The problem is that although they line up, the holes themselves are larger than the screws.
