Transfer Case Linkage

'93 F250 - 5.8 - E4OD

The cheap cast aluminum "lever holder" in the linkage broke (cracked in half!!). I went to Ford and plunked the $184.50 down for the new part. According to the counter man they sell a lot of them.

How hard is this part to install? It looks like there is only one bolt holding it on. Is it possible that a part as important as this would be retained by only one bolt?

I need the truck every day, and I'd rather not stretch this out over multiple days.

Has anyone done this? Any tips or tricks?

Thanks for the benefit of your experience.
