390 FE Engine parts:
I am just finishing up the rebuild of my '68 360 FE. It's a 390+ now. I need a few small parts before I drop the engine into my '68 F-250 Camper Special.
1. Distributor hold down clamp. Don't need the bolt - just the clamp.
2. Throttle stabalizer linkage (TSL). That's the name I came up with. It's the piece of linkage that bolts (2 bolts) to the top of the intake manifold. One link goes from the TSL to the firewall, one from the TSL to the pedal linkage, and one from the TSL to the Carb.
If anyone has these parts and would like to sell them to me, let me know. Or, if you know where I might find them...
Big shortage of FE's in this neck of the woods.

You may ask about parts on this forum, and any replies with offers must be emailed or pm-ed back. I hope that you have your email feature turned on. Please use the sites classifieds for your parts.
I would suggest that you go back with a cable listed for an earlier truck with the FE. Ford uses cables today, the linkages were a bad idea. Carolina Classics, Dennis Carpenter and others carry it.

Gotcha! I'll use the classifieds when looking for or selling parts. I do have the email feature turned on. And, I apprecieate the suggestion re. a cable. I'll take a look and see what I can find. I agree about the linkage not being such a good idea.
