glow plug issues

glow plug issues
Ok, the glow plugs are fine, but the timer or perhaps the temp sensors on the timer are not accurate. is there a way to test the sensors or reset them, or do i have to buy a new starter?

Need truck info, there are two different glow plug systems on the IDI motor.
