Mine close super easily too. It drives me nuts when someone who drives some other brand gets in and then slams the door like a Bengal tiger was trying to eat him.

I found a 70 that the doors do not close good on

Its my parts truck and the door sags when you open it..... It's also been sitting for close to if not over 15 years.

I don't have to lock my 71 with the key. Push the **** down, close the door, and it's locked. My doors also seat very nicely, but the passenger side gets stuck when it's wide open sometimes. It takes a lot of pressure to get it started, then it clicks into place. I haven't had a chance to investigate yet.
