I actually like the time change in the spring. It is the best traffic day of the year. Most people are running late so there is no traffic when i go to school that day.
So much for the extra hour of sleep. My biological alarm clock wouldn't allow me to sleep for an extra hour. I was up at what would have been the usual time.
My internal clock has been screwed up for years. Seems like it's stuck on standard time. Probably from waking up at 5:00 standard time to get to apprenticeship school for 7:00 in November and March. So I'm either on time for everything half the year, or late for everything the other half. I always wake up at the same time every morning, 6 standard or 5 daylight. Doesn't really matter to me. In daylight time, I always roll over and sleep for another hour.
In a couple weeks, I'll be working dark to dark anyway, with or without the time change. It's already dark when I go home.
No if's and's or but's about it...DST bites!! Here in Indiana the politicians finally managed to forcefully ram it down our throats. We fought it for years but they eventually won out. What a load of crap. The Governor says it will greatly improve the failed economy of our state. I say BS!!! All it's going to do is confuse our lives even more.
I have yet to hear a reason in favor of it that I can't shoot down. It doesn't save anybody any money or time, and it really ticks me off that our state government totally ignored the will of it's people to ramrod it through.
