To fit the extended spindles you need to disassemble the door and window regulators
Mid fifty supply instructions, some drilling grinding and welding is required
You can send your mechanisms to them and they will do them for you
There are/were bolt on extensions made that did not require any dissassembly except for removing the handles, I had a set on my doors, but 3 out of the 4 are misplaced somewhere in my spare parts right now.

that i what i need any idea who made them ?? or if i could find a pair?? thanks
Nope, they came with the truck. There were also chrome trim plates that covered the raw edges and took up any leftover space. As I remember they were a common accessory item at the parts stores years ago when vehicles still had crank up windows and "coat hook" door handles. You might try searching the hotrod shops and JC Whitney.
With all the custom door panels you'd think the door handle extenders would be an available part at, say, Mid 50s. Plus they can't cost much to make.
Do the girls at Mid 50s ever read these posts? Just wondering.
Sure beats taking the regulator out of the door.
This is the part I saw in a Ford car catalogue a while back.
