jpracer,

Welcome to FTE!

It's all in how you maintain it man! There's guys running around in here pushing 275,000 (posted). No reason it shouldn't, it's a very solid motor.

Be a little more specific in your uses for it and you'll get some more specific mileage estimates. Too many variables to consider when discussing somethin like that.

See ya around,
BFR

2v V10 Well Maintained and not abused...over 189,000 (current fleet average)

3v v10 Unknown, too, new highest millage I have seen posted in around 85,000

Major rotating assemblies are same between versions so easy to predict about the same close to 200K before rebuild required

Major wear area at re-build? Rings, cam chain, and cam bearings. Bottom ends are reported as still in tolerance

132,000 miles on an 01 Excursion V10. Lost my #8 coil around 80k (looked like contamination). Changed the plugs with it. Other than that, no problems.

I have a 01 V-10 with only 47,000 miles on it. I know of a rancher here in wyoming that has over 270,000 on his V-10.
