Lift Kits
I went with 16x8 pro comp wheels with 4.5 back spacing to keep the 35's inside the wheel wells as much as possible.
The truck rides better than stock as the shocks are an upgrade. The slightly wider stance also feels more stable.
The adj trac bar made the install easier and the axle is centered better now than stock. I also plan on lifting the truck again after my warrantee runs out in a year or so, and the adj trac bar will be needed more so then.
The whole package including tires and wheels installed cost about $2800
I'm very pleased with the results so far.
There are pictures in my gallery.

37x13.50x17 Goodyear Mtrs on Centerline Coolers
I first started with a 6.5 Procomp lift, used for $700.00. Installed myself good height but stiff as ^%$$@#! The Procomp leafs are only five or six leafs and rated at 490lbs/inch front, and 375lbs/inch rear.
Also running Procomp ES9000 duals front and single rear.
I was looking at the Skyjacker Softride lift but I got a better price on a Superlift kit.
The 8 inch Skyjacker kit recommends a heaver sway bar? Is this because of softer springs?
Any way the Superlift leafs are made in India for the rear and Canada in front. Tens leafs per pack. The cost $1400.00 for a complete kit all spring.
Was the ride any better? Very little differance.
I plan on trying the Skyjacker springs next and maybe some Bilsteins 5150s.
The question should be what do you use your truck for?
A Superduty will never be a Prerunner, but a Superduty can haul and tow!
That is a funny statement considering a lot of people here rave about the ride of the Donahoe kits. And where were the kits developed and what does Donahoe Racing do?? Desert racing a Super Duty last I knew!!!
Ford Trucks for Ford Truck Enthusiasts
I bought my F250 crew cab 4x4 to tow me, my family, freinds, and all the toys. Isn't that what a Superdutys for?
I got a Ford Bronco to go real off roading, but I know the Superduty can always haul the Bronco out and back!
I just joined FTE.
I noticed you did the Donahoe 4.5" on your truck. I did the same with mine. I've got 35's as well. My front drivers side tire rubs very little and i'm worried about the tire grabbing the ABS lines that are near the frame. Any suggestions? Thanks..

I then went with Fab-Tech, 5 1/2" kit, Bilstein shocks, dual in front, went back to block in rear for ride purposes. I have 315/75/16s on Mickey Thompsons Classic IIs. Rides wonderful, not AS cushy as stock. I have straight-piped it, K&N Air, Hypertech 3 stage. I regularly tow our 27' Ragen Toy-hauler, about 10,500 loaded, and get 9-12 towing it. I wouldn't go any higher for towing, works great for us, it has about 80k miles, just went to TX, no trailer, averaged 19.5 the WHOLE 3700 miles, had a few runs of 80mph+ for a while, like to drink the fuel once you go past 75.
