V10 vs 6L
I swear if I would have had a sex change operation instead of buying a V10, a lot of my old diesel buddies would be more comfortable around me than they are now.
Having natural shrink abilities and being able to read people as well as I do, which is a curse by the way, because it makes you want to take most people in small doses only.
Back to my original point, I now realize my ex diesel friends that are threatened by my
conversion back to gas are very insecure and are more to be pitied than scorned.
Nick, you on the other hand, are on the cusp of throwing off the diesel chains and screaming to the world, " Yes, I want to be a V10 Man."
Nick, many of us on this forum believe you have what it takes to be a V10 man.
Search your heart and bare your soul brother. Amen.
Wrench, I think I can speak for everyone and say, I'm glad that a sex change never happened, but that's a very good point. Diesel guys love their engines, and so do V10 guys, so we should all just learn to get along.
I'm not on the brink of anything though, so nice try. It's the same as with homosexuals, I've come to accept you guys.

Nick is a BSEG waiting to happen...he wants to get a new 6.4l PSD. But watching the disappointment the 6.0L was, he is a-scairt and will have to wait for the 2008 to see if any new bugs, re-flashes ands other CPS type crap is prevelent... that means we still have a few years to try and get him down here permanent in V10 BSEG land..
That ain't no easy task... he has a early 7.3L that will not die and he loves the damned thing.
We don't care, he has a dry sense of humor and worries about the size of other mens peters... notice he is from Prince George BC... now all Canadians will be mad at me for suggesting that is a gay sounding place... (he said ducking for cover) Peace eh, you northern fellers!
Remember his "Better to be Stroked then Blown" bumper sticker wore off years ago. Not too sure what group that little declaration was aimed at? Hum, maybe that is another rant in another forum some day.
It is all good, his wife loves him any way. Does what she can to shore up his manhood but accepts that the truck is what "does it" for him. Many of us have understanding wives like that. Some times Mrs Nick will dress up in leather so she smells like a new truck, just for him.
No rvpuller..Nick ain't no troll!
He is a Ford loving friend and can give as good as he takes... we love to abuse him and he is thin skinned enough to take it personal and shoot back at us.
The moderators let it stand because we usually manage to keep some V10 relevance in here and most of his quips can be funny (in a pathetic sort of way)
One day Nick you will have a V10 induced BSEG AND be able to listen to ZZ top with the windows down
No, I'm not a troll, I don't own a 6.0L either. I just love poking fun at these guys, none of this is serious, and if you ever see me make comments like that down here, either disregard it, or have a laugh. Either way, I like coming down here and chatting with you guys.
O, and Fred, now that you mention it, 'Prince George' does sound pretty gay, I hadn't even thought about it. Made me laugh.
This just a cheap way to add to the post count
Ford Trucks for Ford Truck Enthusiasts
.Before I became a V10 man I was a 7.5L junky, when Ford dropped it I thought I was going to have to go to a oil burner for my next RVpuller. Until I started having trouble with my work truck 94 F350 CC 351W, I was ether going with a crate motor or a new truck. Decided to look for a new truck, I wasn't to picky white, CC, V10, 4.30 gears, XLT. My dealer found one in Texas about 300 miles away so I when to Texas to get it. Left the lot with 12 miles on the clock, 200 miles down the road I called the Wife and told her we one to pull the trailer. Had to take it to the dealer so they could check it out and I told them to just give me the title and a wash job and its never been back with 91K on the clock. That was in April.
In September we went to Oregon on vacation and came back with a new V10 SC DRW and the love affair is still going on
. Now the small peter thing I'm not to sure about
