Amen to that. dont you worry bout nothin, there is no shortage of work for me to cut. we really should stop importin so much crap that really burns me. my favorite part about driving a lifted diesel with a 4" exhaust straight pipe with a cherry bomb is the wonderful pollution she makes. i love pulling up to someone in those honda insight hybrid cars, puttin the hammer on down and yellin out the window, "Hey tree hugger im makin enough pollution for the both of us!" god i love america and fords
Hey Curtis,
I hear you about the Gas prices. When I left the States last month they were about 1.41 per gallon. Here in England they are $.45 per liter (about $2.25 per gallon) Off Base though they are about 78 pence per liter (about $5.85 per Gallon) needless to say I am driving a 4 cylinder here and getting all my gas on Base. lol. Take it easy
thats why them other countrys have there fuel prices so high is so they can control what you buy and drive.they dont want them big FORD trucks or any other full size AMERICAN brand truck (or car).thats what comunissem is all about!controling the people and what they have.thats why the democrats want our guns also.so we cant defend our selfs.
I've actually seen alot of full size Fords over here. I wish I had bought an F150 before I came here to drive. My F350 CC is a little too big for British roads. lol. Man I miss my truck.
amen, god dang democrats takin all our stuff. ill tell you somethin i have had a home securtiy system in my house since i was little. a confederate flag so some kinds dont come near, a 12 gauge downstairs and a 20 gauge upstairs with pistols in diff. closets. we had one poor fool try to break into my house one time i guess it took a couple hrs. of surgery to pull the slugs out of him, unfortunately he lived and is out of jail to do it again. i didnt get anything cause it was self-defense. but i swear i had them foreigners tryin to control everything. amen to fords and america
You know I have been reading all the comments for the last couple of days after my post. We all have good ideas about what needs to be done. What gets me is personally I fought 2 wars. One to stop communism and one to stablize the oil region. Well it took 25 or so yrs for the Iron Curtain to fall. I like to think thats why over 58,000 died in a jungle. Instead of it being due to Capitalism.
The Second excursion onto the sand was never completed we should have gone to Irac. Took out Saddam freed the people, and took control of the oil. I'm tired of seeing young men and women put their life on the line for a job never done. If we did what we should have instead of being worried about Saudia Aribia and Isreal(and Im Jewish) we would have the leverage to deal with OPEC at this time. Of course the Saudies and all there would say. "Sure you let the whie devil in" but what the heck were fighting that problem with terrorist attacks against us know. At least we whoud have somthing for them to really be pissed about.
Has for all those tree huggers valid point got to keep it clean and green. The only problem is you also need to cut the trees to keep the forest alive and keep the jobs flowing here. You start drilling again and OPEC will drop prices put these poor guys on oil rigs out of work and the cycle starts over again. Using corn or alternatives we should keep trying. Realize the American Oil Barons are no better than the OPEC heads. There all for themselves and those of us who need it the most get screwed.
I worked on the pipeline has a welder and we didn't screw the wildlife up, but it also hasn't done what it was suppose to do. I got a degree in Automotive Design after I went To Triton College in Chicago. I worked in Flint Mich. For Ford, went to Ferris State College and I'm not bragging. Just to let you know Ive been around the block. I lost 2 Gas Stations when I lived in Chicago due to Regin Nomics. If your old enough to remember the gas lines in the 1970's from what started this crisis.
I got out of the automotive field 16 yrs ago due to all this crap.Became a EMT in Chicago and Now work has a lieutenant in New York Fire Dept. I proberly wouldn't be driving a 1988 F250 4x4 with a extended cab and dual tanks if I didn't pick it up for $500.00 from a cop I know. I do enjoy it but the gas is starting to take its toll.
We need has Americans forget that, Has Human's around the world and try to solve this situation. Congress,Presdent bla bla bla they dont care they get rich we struggle. Time for a NON-VIOLENT solution on our shores and possible a take over in the Mid East to solve this. The guy who don't have kids yet and don't want to have them live with our mistakes. I have the highest respect for you I do have kids and feel that way. Do what you got to do because you are the future God knows I have tried my best to do it.
Sorry this is so long

This is all about fleecing the consumers for as much wool as we have. Energy crisis my a##. Our government spends billions of our tax dollars annually, micro-researching everything from A to Z. They know how many millions of gallons of gas-o-crap (anybody remember what it used to look and smell like) are used in this country on any given day. Consumerism from the top is all about getting (forcing) people to buy the latest, trendiest, must have it non quality widget for the maximum amount of dollars that can be extracted. ""Big three not selling enough of those new motorized beercans? No problem. Jack up the price of energy in any form. Put the squeeze on em. Heck we'll get em to finance that disposable car for 6 or 7 years, rake in the interest, and sell em another one cause it will be obsolete by the time its paid for."" Its not just cars either. We are victims of our elected officials (those career politicians with big red noses, fat wallets, and business friends who generously support them).
"Its an inside Job". Get yourself some unregistered protection and teach your children well. Think I sound paranoid? Better wake up and take look around at that old big picture. No, not the big screen with that freakin must see MTV. Well, I vented, rambled, ranted and raved. BUT I STILL DONT FEEL ANY BETTER ABOUT THE PRICE OF GAS.

i have read on this post people blaming the president, oil companies and opec for the high oil costs, which i agree to a point that the oil companies are raking us for what they can, BUT can someone explain to me why on a given day say maybe 1 or 2 gas stations in my area will get a shipment of gas. the price rises from $1.57 for 87 octane to $1.75. 1 hour later the other gas stations rise their prices the same. they paid $x.xx per gallon for their supply, and were making their profit selling it for $1.57, but hey gus's gas hut, down the street is getting $1.75 gee thats an additional .18 cents a gallon, what the hell so why cant i sell it for the same?? so they raise their gas prices, there is no way all 6 gas stations in the small town i live in pop.18,000 are getting gas the same time, on the same day, within an hour of each other.
so whats going on?
who is really screwing us?
you tell me
