Thats good Clint, it should be ready to roll by thanksgiving then right?
Not unless the welding fairly shows up and does a lot of welding.(shock mounts F&R, cross member, drivers side floor, rear spring pads on 9") Then shocks need to magically appear. And the exhaust needs to jump on the truck fabbing it's self. Then driveshafts need to be done ($$$$$$). And the fender cutting god needs to smile on "Jr.". Course the Doubler needs to be cheaned and the shift lever changed.(John says he can do that maybe sometime next month) Hole cut in the floor for the t-case shifter (stock t-case shifter will only shift the Doubler). Then that will have to have a cover plate and shift boot fabed. Carpet and seats re-installed. Gears for the front. Detroit and gears installed in the spare third member and installed in the front. 44 outers put on the 35 TTB. Rear Detriot Locker needs to show up and install itself in the rear axle. And about 1500 other things I can't remember.
Wish they made them in some plain black flexible rubber. They are really nice looking though. Looks like I cut out way more than they did on the rear. Bout the same on the front.
What do you have on your truck? Thought it was the same as Clint has on Mad Max...the plain black flexible rubber. Thought I'd see about using the Bushwacker instructions and the roll of flare stuff we used on Mad Max. If I can still find the stuff.
Well picked up the doubler today. It now has the correct shift lever and was cleaned and check out. Just need to trim the rear adapter plate and hope it will all fit. May have to install a body lift or mod the floor pan to get it in. Or should I say to get the t-case on the back of the doubler. time
