Gear selector indicator light

Is there a light on the gear selctorindicator? This would be on a 78 F150 tilt wheel column shift. If so how do you change the light bulb or which wire coming out of the steering wheel wiring harness goes to the light?

Is your indicator in the dash or on the column itself? I am not familiar with how the older trucks are setup.

Thanks Dave. I appreciate your help. a while back I think it was you that sent me a link for the wiring diagram for a 64 ford. I used that and an 80 ford haynes manual to hook up the wiring in a 78 tilt wheel column to the blinkers in my 64 ford and then found the brake light feeder wire. It all works pretty smooth.
