Old school. The factory built it, so leave it alone.

In the modern day however, "good enough" just doesn't cut it!

you will be done with it soon enough. Just keep everything. Unfortunately at 99k you are getting close to the end of life for the dpf. Most are starting to have issues with it in the low 120k range...so it is a good time to find that yours has fallen off and somehow landed in the barn or what ever...

Mine fell off at 11k miles... (and no that isn't a typo)

I'm past ready for mine to fall off

This may require a new thread, but.... at my last oil change, I had a conversation with a buddy of mine that works in sales
(East TX dealership). He claims that you can't trade in your "modified" vehicle because of a new state law (Texas). I haven't heard anybody mention this previously nor have I seen any posts that pertain to this.
Y'all heard of this?

I would imagine that would be SOP, put it all back on before trading it in.

Nope keep it all and just throw it in the bed when you trade it in. If they want it they can put it back on. Technically they can't sell a vehicle that does not meet the federal emissions. So while i doubt they care he is technically correct. Besides you will want to return it back to stock and take the tuner with you for your next 6.4 or sell it as a used kit.... If by chance the truck is destroyed then you can sell the cat and dpf for a couple hundred to somebody with a clogged dpf.
