yeah i think i was looking at the wrong one. here is a picture, and i believe the red-circled plug is the AIH, right? and the other one that is pretty polka dot yellow is the one that hooks up to the edge.

Kwik, when you get your gauges do you plan on tapping in the T line or into the intake horn?
I guess if the plug is a good product than it's a good reason to buy it.
That said, I don't have a plug handy and the guages will be here before I could order one in. In all likelyhood where I'm going to get the boost is from the line that controls the wastegate, not the MAP sensor line. I have the wastegate unplugged anyway so it's just sitting there waiting to be used for something.
Later on when I get a boost relief valve I won't have to mess with moving the fitting.
Kwik,
I put my boost line in the hot-side of the y-pipe pre-intercooler and saw a lot quicker response than either the map "tee" or by using the AIH plug. Get you a regulated overboost set-up instead of the relief....you will be much happier!

The regulated is like the one ITP sells, its an adjustable dial valve that can be set to different levels. Its not like the inline reed style blow off vavles. They claim to be more accurate with less effect on boost readings. I have read lots of postive things about that style. I may switch to it eventually but the one I have from Bob Riley at Dieselsite seems to be getting the job done.
I used a relief type device/s for quiet a while. But I could never build the kind of boost that I wanted to with out these opening up. Most of the time at 18-20lbs I could hear the sound of the relief opening up and the boost going with it. I switched to a regulated set-up which is set to let 22-24lbs of boost thru to the map but it does not release any of your boost into the atmosphere. So now my map will see abt 23lbs to keep it happy but I can see up to 35-40lbs on my gauge. At that point your wastegate(if you have one) is controlling the amount of boost that is released with out the relief opening up. Or if you are like me and have no wastegate, all of the boost that is over the set point for de-fuel in the map(24lbs) is still in the system for you to use. If you do use the wastegate, the Big Head from Banks does a good job of controlling it without it opening too soon. This includes unhooking it and letting the boost open it by itself.
This is just what I have found out from personal experience.

Thats the one I'm using. Visit Dennis' site and you can see a comparison.
