AIH Delete question

i want to order the AIH delete plug from riffraff, but i am wondering what i do with the wires after i put the plug in??

Take em off bro. U will get a soft code for the AIH delete but no SES light.

x2, just follow them to where the terminate, one in the block and the other on the relay and disconnect them.

I taped mine off, completely insulating them with electrical tape, until such time they were removed.

Clint just do as Clay says I would take both ends off. It will only take a few more seconds to get the other ends off. Just did mine, got AIH delete plug with a taped hole for boost guage from Riffraff Diesel awsome set up.

This delete plug,is that the one that delete's the air temp sensor ??

and wot the hell is a foil delete plug i see on his specs ???

Foil delete is the removal of the foil on the passenger side intercooler pipe. (its a right hand drive bro's) It does nothing for performance, purely aesthetic. But it can give out a nice turbo whistle. Now the AIH plug delete is the removal of the air intake heater which is rarely used in the truck (especially in the warm climate of AUS) It is also restricts the air flow through the pipe. And Clay's plug looks neat and is a good place to put your boost gauge.

What do you mean by sealant? If you mean on the threads it isn't need on the Riffraff AIH plug as it is sealed with a Viton O-ring.

Polished the ol pipes up mate,looks good..

Whats the gauge there for ?..

Im not sure if ya spotted my question on another post,but i was talking to clay about shipping,and he said he was sending you a engine soon,im trying to work out if we send the stuff together and we both save on freight or i just get clay to send my stuff straight to me..

What you think ...
