Living within 5 miles of both the Honda plants here in Ohio, I will tell you that I do see a lot of Hondas around here. They outnumber any other cars by far. Yes they are reliable and take a lot of abuse that a lot (but not all) of the American (Ford/Chevy/Dodge) car companys cant take. I'll still stick with both my Ford's though...

I did fail to mention that my other car is a Ford Taurus. My wife is the one
that is going to buy the Honda, I am going to start driving the Taurus and
let the truck sit at home to keep the miles off of it. The Taurus has been
very reliable so far.

I know I would love to see a new ford with a cummings diesel.
Whats a "Cummings" diesel? I've heard of a "CUMMINS" diesel!

I had a 2003 Taurus SE as a company car. It was a POS. Interior pieces started falling off within 12 months, the brakes were pathetic as was the V6 engine.

It was uncomfortable to drive and the OEM sound system was a joke. The only good part of it was that it was a company car and I didn't have to pay for this piece of excrement.

AZ, is there ANY Ford vehicle out there that you can not find fault with? Or did you drive that company car like a government mule? My dad bought his Taurus company car when they retired it and drove it until Hurricane Georges flooded the property and submerged the car to the rooftop. Dad cried like a baby, the car had nearly 180,000 on the clock, was solid, and NEVER left him stranded. But he always kept it maintained. Uh oh, I think I've fed the troll again...

I REALLY like my truck - it surprises me with it's power, comfort, fuel economy, and ability to haul 8,000 lbs like it's hardly even there. Are there things I would like improved upon - of course. But there is a long way between improving on a good thing and knowing a POS when you drive it.

I now have a Ford 500 for a company car - and it is WAY better than the Taurus I had. For one thing, I've had it for 6 months and no interior trim pieces have fallen off.

Here in Colorado there is about 5 Superdutys to every Dodge, and about 10 Chevys to every Ford. Its a shame. The 6.4L will change all of this, you can just feel it.
