Paint Code Numbers
My mistake > A is Black not red.
D is Red and I apparently exchanged the letters.

Paint Code Numbers
Well fellas I got the same problem, my paint code is "4" and it is not anything even close to green its like puke yellow gold and has been since new.
I tried the paint scratch thing too, no luck.
One guy I ran across at a body shop said that the Explorers had a diffrent color list than the rest of the trucks, but where do you find it? he said to try and find an old DuPont Ford {truck} catalogue and it might list them there.
It makes me wonder if they just painted them with whatever they had leftover and stuck a number on the door that looked good.
