Carb intake ID

I got a 69 Ranger with a 390 however, a PO must have replaced the intake and carb since it's a 4 bbl. The carb ID tag reads C5 AE H and the intake reads C7AE 9425 H I know the C5 & C7 are 65 & 67 respectively and I believe the carb is a 4100? Any help with the ID?

OK doing some research from some books I have I believe what I need to know is what the letter "H" represents. This should tell me what type car/truck the parts came off of. Correct?

no its the third digit in the A which stands for full size car. most parts you can't go by casting number alone you need the casting date.

Yup, that's a car intake. It fits that engine just fine, it takes any squarebore Holley or Edelbrock carb, and the only gain you would see going to an aluminum intake is the loss of weight.

Thanks. I assume it's just a generic Ford intake and no high performance model. I have no plans to change it however, I do need to fix the manual choke as some of the plastic pieces are cracked.

If it has a large S cast into the number one runner, it's the hipo model.
