Dash lights
Anyone know of a way to make the dash lights brighter? Had a guy say once you could put a 6 volt light in there and put a resistor in line to kill 5 volts for a brighter light! Any Ideas?

I put a F650 or something instrument panel in mine and all the lights where bright enough except the turn indicaters. It had a 3/16 in thick colored lens behind it and I couldnt see it on in the day light. I just found some thin plastic material about 1/16 and cut new ones with my dremel tool and glued them in place of the originals. I can see them on in bright sunlight now

Change all the bulbs and clean the contacts. Mine are still a bit dull, but, I think t has more to do with the headlamp switch then anything else. Plus, the 194 is not exactly a bright bulb anyways.
