hello everyone, i have a question for the elders. i thought the 48-50 f-1s did not have a hood ordiment, but lately i have been seeing a lot of them for sale that have then and they all look the same. it does not look like the one that came on the cars so where can i find one? and ideas? i a street rodding a 50 f-1 and thought it would look very well on my truck. thank you stoebob
All of the above is correct. There is no listing in the Ford parts and accessories books. These were mostly off the 49-50 Ford cars as the curve is nearly identical to the truck hood.
thank you for the info, i was not sure. I have seen the shoeboxes, just thought that they had a circle around a bolt. but could be wrong. all of the older ford cars i have streetrodded or restored have had no crome or i took the crome off per the owner.
