Hey Brokebronco. Would you happen to know if this problem applies only to 4x4 trucks or would it apply to 2x4's too? It seems like they are implying that it is only for trucks with transfer cases.
Bellhousing to transmission pattern is the same between big block and small block bellhousings, so all you have to do is un bolt one and bolt the other on.
Thanks for all the responses guys, i have one last question......... i have a chance to get a t-18, but my truck came with the np-435. WHat would i need to mate the t-18 up to my transfer case and also is the bellhousing serperable as it is on the np-435. Thanks a bunch.
The T-18 is longer. So the issue of drive line length will come into play. Also, I think the shifter comes out of the tranny in a different location. Further forward on the T-18.
