Me be chipped!
YAY i just bought a chip for my truck. i got it off ebay- Edge Juice with Attutide monitor package, $569.99 shipped to my door. i have heard mileage around 20-21 mpg with a considerate foot on a low power setting, is this true? thanks to all who have helped me, i think i made a good decision....

yep. in the fall issue of Diesel Power, they had an install on a cummins '06. it was "plug-n-play" and the exhaust temp probe was like 30 minutes total. i think i am going to drill it with the manifold on. any tips? i have heard using grease, a small magnet fished around in there, and even running it with the truck on.

i drilled and taped mine with the engine running... it was easy.. the air coming out of the hole pushed all the chips out... it wasn't very loud, and it only got a little warm holding the wrench at the very end, but i didn't wear gloves and i took my time so i wouldn't have to do it twice..!
