i am about to sand blast my frame and repaint it because it looks horrible. and i dont want to do plain ol' black, i like to be different(hence me putting a '92 bed on my '78 f-150) and if you are going to harass me about that, it could have been worse i could have welded a chevy or dodge bed on there so any suggestions on a badass color for my frame that will stick out. btw the truck is going to be black or blue i havent decided 100% yet. i didnt know if i should post this in this section or the body work section. but oh well let me know what a good color is.

LMAO
I put a Dodge stepside on mine. So I'm a sucker for a shapely fender, what of it? The Mrs. insists on calling it a Forodge, she makes no account for the Delco alternater. Before it's done it will have parts from an industrial lift truck, a car wash, Rail Road cars, and maybe a little bit-O-Whirlpool. Depends on what I have laying around. Some fine day I'll get around to creating a gallery.
What is surprising is that very few people have identified the bed on sight. Not as many bluebloods (Ford blue) as I anticipated.
For a contrast color I like white. Sure it'll show dirt, but black shows it in a big way also. White conceals many flaws-ask any body man/painter. White is reflective: reflects heat, reflects light. Nice qualities for the under side of a truck.
IMHO, if you don't have a few critics, you aren't trying. Flame on my blue-blooded friends! I'm always up for a good laugh.
have you thought about getting it sprayed with LINE-X, i have seen it done and it looks pretty good, dont know about the cost though. might be worth looking into!!
