yeah luckily for me, i work right across the street from my house and we work in a 60x60 polebarn with cement floors, a hydraulic lift, mill, lathe, cabinet sand blaster, and the pot blaster which i have been using on my frame. so i spend 14-18 hours a day there lol pics are on the way. not a whole lot different from the other ones but a little bit
here is a picture of me just getting started on it today.
LOL the truck looks like *** from that view. anyways..... i got the drivers side done tonight...... and painted...went threw like 4 bags of sand and thats all i bought and it was after 9 some home depot was closed. now for tomorrow(sunday) i have to go buy more sand to do the inside of the rails. but here is what i got done tonight:
i messed up and tried painting in the dark, bad idea. but i think it will look ok when i am done. and you can see what the inside of the frame rails is going to look like. hopefully i will have finished pictures for you tomorrow night. until then the more comments the better!
i dunno if the mods will yell at me for this but i took a minute from sandblasting and hopped in the drivers seat, i almost forgot what it was like to sit in my truck but my buddy snapped a pic and i figured i would post it on here since it does have something to do with my sandblasting( you can see the evidence on my forarm)
hmmm thats a great idea about the sand, thanx! i'll have to try it tomorrow. i'll just make sure to screen it as i am putting it back in the blaster.

So what kind of paint are you using anyway? (name brand?)
Also, are you going to take off the cab to get at the front half of the frame or just gonna tough it out and crawl underneath?
looks good so far for sure.
well the back half is atleast got that done and the bed halfass mounted just to see how big it is now that i flipped the shackles. lemme know what you guys think!!!!!
Yup, that silver definately looks sharp.
Where aqbouts are you located anyway? Have you tried looking for a 73-79 short box around there? Just wondering if they are as rare whereever you are as they are up here.
i couldnt find a 73-79 bed around here for less than 1300. can you believe that. well i think i could have gotten a rusted out one for like 600, but it needed waaayyy too much work. thanx for the compliments guys
