1966 frame

I have a 1966 f 100 short bed frame..i am going to purchase another frame to custom install a irs-and a ifs...what year frames will work to install under my truck..please give me years 61--66 short wheel base..if unable to locate sb frame could a long frame be used and sectioned when doing rear install..looking to see if attachment points for bumpers and cab etc. are same..any help..thanks in advance...

beezerboy, Welcome to FTE & the Slicks Forum.

Starting in 65 2wd the twins were introduced so a chassis change occurred. The 65-72 chassis should be pretty identical bumper to bumper. 65-79 cab & front clip, 73 up just behind rear cab mounts measured cut could be used. A long bed chassis could be used with identical measure cut past rear cab mounts.
