Try doning a search, but I'm pretty sure any 6' bed will work, but to be safe I'd go with one from a 73-86 Ford.
There is alway the spray in or roll on option, like I did if you want to check that out in my gallery.
id love the spray or roll on but one problem id have to fix the wheel arches in the bed their all dented badly so thats why i was considering a plastic
I would definitely go for the spray and liner. It is so much better than the plastic. Nothing slides around in your truck body will not rust out. So if you have to do a little bodywork it would be worth it. It's pretty good stuff.
I had 2 dents on the lower part of mine, and I just put it on over that, and I looks stock until you look at the other side, but I understand what you mean.
I've heard of guys that have gotton them out of a 6' Chevy bed out of a junkyard, and work pretty good.
If you do a good job on the bottom underside and spray a little corrosion guard over your work then the spray in bed liner should cover the exterior of the bed. Talk to the guys who spray the liner and see what you can get away with
If you go the spray or roll on route, and don't want to pay out your but to get it done, buy a do it yourself kit like I did. Check it out in my gallery.
im not talking little dents there huge dents like varying from 1-5 inches wide and about 1/2 in deep but yah im gonna try to pull em out as much i can im messing with bodywork at the moment
73-96 ford f-series short bed pickups use the same inner gusts for the bed.. so the liners are the same from 73-96.... you can usually find them at your local salvage yards rarely cheap... Sometimes you can find the "FORD" (DURALINER) Bedliners... Those are the best...
Isn't the shortbed Chevy 6feeto the shortbed Fords' 7 feet?
I don't remember the exact length, but Ford is longer than dodge short beds, and I think dodge and chebby are the same length. I bought a topper to put on my '79 Ford short bed (wish I still had that truck) off a dodge and it was way too short.
