Christos10-

Not meaning to disparage you, but could you keep the contractions limited to your cell phone? We don't encourage the practice here. Many people read this and some will not understand the contractions. Especially the old geezers like me.

Thanks

Body lifts are not well suited to a nice truck like an Excursion. Do suspension. Looks better, works better, is better.

2005 excursion

i already have a 8 inch pro comp suspension lift with 40in tires sitting on 22 inch rims, but i wanted higher, took it to modern motors here in calgary and the guy looked at me and said chris, "seriously u dont need higher.."the truck loooks great, n i will post pics soon. just was curious if anybody had a body lift as i wanted just 2-3 inch more. but i might be greedy and cannot find it..either can they..and they specialize in this stuff..

if "they" can't find you a hanger system, i'd find you another shop. if your talking body lift, then, yes i see where they can't find one. here's a link to a hanger system by ICON. they are a little more expensive than other. but here's what your looking for

3" hanger kit
ICON Vehicle Dynamics

here's a few more from a quick google search

http://www.polyperformance.com/shop/...t-p-16999.html

fabtech 3.5" system

Need some help

Hello everyone,

I also need some help decking out my 2000 Ford Excursion Limited 6.8L V10 4X4.
I am a student at this time so I don't have a deep pocket for this. Right now, everything on the truck is stock but I wanna mix it up some. I need to know the cheapest but reliable(not breaking down on me anytime soon) way to lift it. I am already purchasing the new grill and flowmasters 40's.

The truck is never planning to see off-road action but I would still like to have the setup able to handle the pressure of both off-road and driving on asphalt.

I've heard blocks on the rear and I found a good set for around $85. But I am basically clueless about the rest. What lift do I need on the front and back that will make it both level and not sag on me.

Anything will help with this guys so just let me know the most economical way to go through with this.

Thanks,
Blake12377

P.S-

I bought a ZONE OFFROAD excursion kit here :
Zone Offroad 6" Suspension System F3

And installed it myself in weekend

I too now want to add a 3" body lift just to go a smidge bigger - Right now I have a 2005 EX with 6" Zone offroad lift kit and 37" rims and tires

I dont want to mess with the suspension anymore becasue of excessive angle of driveshaft

As already mentioned, go with suspension instead of body lift. I recently bought a truck that has a 2" inch body lift and it sits uneven due to all the wear and tear.

Thinking maybe its sittin uneven due to No leveling kit on front end to bring it out of fighter stance - Even when going with suspension lift ya still have to level it out first :0)

I just happened to google and came upon this thread last night lol

I already have a 6" susp and dont wanna Mess with Susp. anymore .... I cant help but think how easy it would be to get another 3" out of Body lift Just to do it ..... Hate to say once you start lifting it ... its almost like and addiction.... you want to bigger and bigger ..... Until you start jacking it up you wont understand lol

No apology needed since each of the previous revivals, like yours, was relevant.
