I'm going to use a CRV mini starter and hedman headers.....it's close but I think I got it....rotated the starter ...small dent in a primary....tiny bit of grinding on the block...and it should fit....anyone else running a mini starter and headers...???
Are you trying to get it where you don't have to remove the headers to remove/install the starter? Otherwise everything should fit without bangin' and grindin'. I ran my Hedmans with the stock starter. I'm currently running a Powermaster Mini with FPA headers; there's a lot of room but I still have to loosen the headers to get the starter in.
That's what the starter looks like, as delivered the headers would not fit around it....I'm sure a stock starter would fit fine....so I have to take 2 bolts out of the starter and rotate it on the mounting plate to find a position that offers the most clearence......the name mini starter is a bit misleading
I run a Jeg's pro-starter mini high torque starter and FPA headers. The mini starter position should be adjustable. if not, I can see where it might be in conflict with your headers. I can rotate my starter into several positions against it's own mounting flange.
Edit- I just looked at the ebay listing. That starter should be adjustable. You need to try some of the other positions to optimize fitment and access to the wires (also avoid grounding the wiring terminals to the block or headers).
My son's has Dyno max headers and got one of the high torque mini's. He got it from an outfit in Texas and I'm ppretty sure it was off ebay. It is one of the adjustables and only uses 2 bolts. Cleared header and block. I can take it in and out without pulling the headers.
I got it in ok....I did have to grind the block....the header I left alone...it was a good day today...I also switched over to a cable gas pedal set up and got that installed...
