Power window problem
1999 Ranger X-cab XLT
The power windows on both sides quit working. THe fuse under the hood seems fine but there is no power to either switch in the doors. Any ideas? Is it likely a relay?

This is the list of things to check, I'll be glad to post the details on anything you can do yourself.
Glass, Frames and Mechanisms
PINPOINT TEST A: ALL POWER WINDOWS ARE INOPERATIVE
² A1: CHECK THE IGNITION STATES — MONITOR THE GEM PID IGN_GEM
² A2: RETRIEVE THE DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES (DTCS)
² A3: CHECK THE BATTERY SAVER RELAY COIL CIRCUIT — MONITOR THE GEM PID BATSAV
² A4: CHECK THE ACCESSORY DELAY RELAY COIL CIRCUIT — MONITOR THE PID ACCDLY
² A5: CHECK THE VOLTAGE TO THE ACCESSORY DELAY RELAY COIL — CIRCUIT 705 (LG/O)
² A6: CHECK THE ACCESSORY DELAY RELAY
² A7: CHECK CIRCUIT 1004 (LB/R) FOR OPEN
² A8: CHECK THE ACCESSORY DELAY RELAY
² A9: CHECK CIRCUIT 1004 (LB/R) FOR SHORT TO POWER
² A10: CHECK POWER DISTRIBUTION BOX MAXI-FUSE 4 (20A)
² A11: CHECK THE VOLTAGE TO THE ACCESSORY DELAY RELAY SWITCH — CIRCUIT 170 (R/LB)
² A12: CHECK THE ACCESSORY DELAY RELAY

Ken,
It turned out to be the "one touch power window relay (a $10.00 item). Apparently all the window power routes through this relay so when it went bad the circuits received no electricity. Fixed now! Thanks for your suggestions.

I fixed one the other day... relay was in the drivers door, but this was a 92? explorer? I doubt it's in the same place on this one...
Also windows worked fine, except you had to hold the button down to lower drivers window all the way.
