Dove hunting a tradition for me that starts the hunting season I try to hunt every yr. I enjoy a field full of doves. It starts my yrs hunting with a blast
Yah, I usta..till I lost contact with the people who owned the hunting land, now I have no place to go..that was about 8 yrs ago.
Last time I went, I got a face full of #7 shot from a guy who wasnt paying attention. Still have 15 bits of it in my head and chest..
doesnt bother me bother me bother me..
I used to love Dove hunting, it's not legal any more in NJ so I don't get out much anymore for them. Still a lot of small game so I guess I don't miss it all that much but it sure is fun..
Some time back my son and a partner bought a 360 acre farm near their deer lease to have a place to hang out on weekends. It has became a tradition to spend the first weekend in September dove hunting there. It's about a 2 1/2 drive and we always stop at a catfish café for some great fish, plug in the Ipod and listen to some good music. On the first day we drive about 12 miles to a little town with a small café called The Dairy Hut which has the world's best cheeseburgers and fries. We walk across the street to a little market and buy steaks to be grilled that night. I'm counting the days.

That's a tall order. In n' Out will step up to that challenge any day.
You have been up since dawn, rode the 4-wheelers to your favorite hill, downed a few doves, stopped off at the pond and fished a little, drove through some beautiful country with your son and some great friends to a friendly little town right out of the 50's where you order your cheeseburger. I challenge In n' Out to match that.
