Receiver Lock sizes

Receiver Lock sizes
My stainless receiver lock from my 2002 sd won't fit my 2005 sd!! Its about 1/8 inch to short. Whats up with this? I've checked locally and they look the same size. If I remember correctly the 02 had a double wall receiver and my 05 has a triple wall receiver yet I think they're both class V.
Where can I order one and know it will fit?

I hate the spacer. It makes a lot of noise with a WD hitch on without a trailer hooked up. Plus after you spend the $$ for a WD hitch it is almost not worth going out an buying another one for the 2.50". I may tack weld my spacer in place because I refuse to spend the money on another one. I think Titan makes a lock for the 2.5" reciever though.
