I agree with Customcab re: the '65 padded dash. My father bought a '65 new when I was 11 years old and I knew those trucks fairly well back then. His had unusual options with a standard cab but included interior door trim, RH visor, bright grille, and windshield molding.
I recently bought a '65 brochure. A picture of a Custom Cab interior shows a padded dash. The '66 had the padded dash standard on all models.
