A friend painted his 289 in his 63', so far, so good. I think we put his motor in, April. I used it on my motor but it hasn't ran yet. It does put a great finish on it though.

I've used Eastwoods "Gray cast iron" manifoild paint in the past with good luck. Thin coats baked in an oven between coats to cure it. Tried it once with out the oven bake and it did not look as good or last.
