removing 6disc cd player
my pop has a 2004 king ranch with 6disc cd player head unit, is there any anti-theft trip device on it. i want to swap it with my 1999 single cd player head unit. im assuming they're compatible, correct me if im wrong. thanks

No there is no anti-theft device i sold my old to a friend for his explorer and he had no issues installing it. I believe it should and will work but im no a stereo expert but i dont think they changed anything on the inside of these vehicle till 2005 so you should be alright.
