I would like to swap out my OEM single CD player for an OEM 6 disc CD player. Does anyone know if the players from the 05 150's will fit the 05 350's?

 

oh im about 99.5% sure they would... at least crutchfieild says they use the same adaptor... so that means the harness is the same... just as long as the demensions are the same

good luck finding one for under $300 though... oem cd players are a hot sale

I tried it and it is not a direct bolt in. The mounting ears are in different locations for the F150 vs SD.

A good friend removed his factory 6 disc headunit from his 04 F150 and the mounting ears are towards the front of the unit. On my 05 SD, the mounting ears are located about midway on the depth of the headunit.
