Powerstroke Dies

Hi There ,,,I have a question about my 1999 F-250 Powerstroke,,,,I was driving down the road and it just died like the key was turned off,,,,I put in in neautral and it restatted and I drove 20 some miles and it did it again and this time it won't start until in sat for several minutes. Any suggestion would be appreciated,,,,Thanks in advance,,,

Sounds like a cam sensor.

Second on the CPS (Cam Position Sensor). $100+ at the dealer, $50 on Ebay, if there is an International Tractor dealer near you, you can usually find one there for $70-$80. Good Luck.

Willie,
It should be on the front of the engine. Is held in with one bolt and should be round with wires on a connector going in to it. Easy to replace & cheaper from IH than Ford.
