I have a wiring problem on my 78 F150.
I have replaced the alternator and the voltage regulator and im still not getting a charge and my brake lights dont work when the lights are on but when they are off they usually work. HELP!!!!!!!!
Try connecting +12 to the S terminal on the voltage regulator. This will tell the regulator to supply voltage to the field terminal of the alternator. The alternator will not produce an output if the field does not have voltage on it.
