The '03 PSD doesn't come with a steering stab and I really need one, BAD!
Recommendations of brand and type?
Zero lift, no mods to suspension, no plans to mod this area.
Putting on Bilstein shocks.
Mine does not have one either...03 PSD F250 4X4..Lariat
But... A guy at work here has a 2002 and it has the OEM S/S...
My axle has the bracket for one though...
Maybe you could get the OEM setup???
I would go with the Rancho for aftermarket....
Lifetime warranty...
What suspension came from the factory with the setup??
My '01 had "heavy service suspension" so it came with the stock (useless) stabilizer that leaked in the first 100 miles of use.
Go Rancho... I have 265/75r16's on my '01, and the single Rancho is just big enough. If you have bigger than 265's, go with a dual setup. You won't regret it.
I had the rancho on my 01, I just put a skyjacker kit on my 03 it had no stab from the factory the kit worked good and was $60 and comes with all the hardware only prob. was I had to go get $5 worth of U bolts at the depo because the ones in the kit were to short.
Just put a rancho on my 01. I am running 285's and I can notice a big difference with the stabilizer, although I don't think I would go with a dual. The rancho shock is a lot bigger than stock and I think a dual set up would be overkill unless you were running bigger tires.
I put a Rancho stabilizer shock on my 03 F250. I used one thats bigger than a stock shock. It's actually longer and has a bigger dia. shock rod. It bolts right in and i'm very happy with it.
I am running 285s and the truck shop convinced me i need the duals. it was over kill. I unded up getting a different bracket and just using the one.. Its a supperlift steering damper set up.. The single damper is more then enough unless you feel like building your fore arms in the parking lot when your power steering gets a little week as you push that brake...
Wolffee, good info! That decides for me that I'm going with the single.
I'm thinking no lift, 315's and single stab.
I'm just not too keen on Ranchos, heard a few bad stories on here about them.
Perhaps a superlift single?
