Wrench...Poll ideas?
I started a thread in the SD & HD area regarding the V10 and PSD. I was curious to know how many V10 owners on the site there are, compared to PSD owners. The poll was much closer then anticipated, and Wrench wanted to know the lease vs purchase ratio of the 6L PSD and the V10.

I'm just curious how I should set this up. Any ideas or suggestions are welcome. I'm thinking of starting a poll in this forum with two options: lease, and purchase. Same thing in the 6L forum. Then linking the two after a couple of days to the SD & HD forum for all too see. What do you think?

Not a problem, I think we should just ask people if they leased or bought their truck in the poll. Then under comments they could give their reasons. I have read several posts that have stated that as soon as the lease is up they will be getting the new 6.4 PSD and just wondering if a lot of people that are a little uncertain about the 6.0's long term reliability feel more comfortable with a lease.
My feeling is the ability to let the dealership keep the truck when the lease expires is the only benefit of leasing. I feel that buying will cost you less over all .

good idea nick. i would have to say purchased , i drive to many miles for a lease to help me. i mean i borought it home 2/28/05 and now have 10k on the clock. would i buy another with the v10. yes . fred and wrench would kick my six from way out where they live . man the only real difference in my super duty and yours is the fuel we burn. it's still a ford no matter how we look at it.
