I'm rebiulding my trany and transfer case in my 86 f150. The reason I'm in this forum is because it's got a np435 trany and a np205 transfercase out of a 77 f150. What I need is the speedo gear in the transfer case. I've tried all the part stores and trany shops in my area with no luck. Is there a web site I can order one from or a company I can get one from?

 

Try Ford or a shop that deals in speedometers.

 

probably ford, or do alot of dirt crawlin in the junk yards

Most larger cities have speedometer repair shops. They will have the gear. Check your yellow pages.

It took me a month to track down a replacement Ford was no help at all. Speedometer DRIVE gear is part #D3TZ-17285-A (7 tooth for 31" tires, 3.50 gears). Green Sales Company shows one left.
