Anyone know about Plow Frames?
My 79 F250 is set up with a Western plow. The Plow frame is designed so the bottom section hangs off the leaf sprimgs, and a large beam on each side mounts back to the mid section of the Truck frame. I was wondering if this is a "Good set up" or " Not so Good". It seems heavy duty, but I sure dont have much ground clearence.

Anyone know about Plow Frames?
Sounds like a "Good" heavy duty set up to me. I shortened the hanging section of frame on mine and lengthened the two mounting points on the plow this way I have more ground clearance when the plow is off.
