Brake Ignition Interlock Problem
I am having a problem with the brake interlock. The truck will not start or go into gear. I checked the brake light switch and that is working. I then checked the wiring to the interlock solinoid and it is getting voltage when I step on the brake but it seems that the solonoid is dead. Does anyone know if there is a way to override the solonoid. Its almost impossible to get to so I can't tell exactly how it works. I would like to override or remove it for now until I can fix it right. Any ideas?
My truck is a 2000 F350.
